About T.J.
T.J. Zane is a San Diego–based nonprofit executive, consultant, and REALTOR® focused on strengthening organizations and communities.
Through his consulting firm, Dovetail Partners, he and his wife help nonprofits and associations strengthen governance, grow revenue, and execute meaningful initiatives.
He currently serves as the retained Executive Director of the San Diego County Dental Foundation, where he oversees the organization’s operations, fundraising, and strategic initiatives, including the John Geis DDS Dental Clinic for Veterans.
As a licensed REALTOR® (DRE #02178297), T.J. helps clients navigate buying and selling homes with clarity, trust, and long-term perspective.
T.J. previously served as an elected Trustee of the Poway Unified School District, where he helped guide policy and governance for one of California’s highest-performing public school systems.
He is also deeply engaged in launching and supporting philanthropic efforts that connect people, organizations, and resources to strengthen local communities.
T.J., his wife Rozanna, and their three children live in the Rancho Peñasquitos community.
